I love working as an MT-BC! I graduated from the University of the
Incarnate Word in 2022 with a Bachelor of Music Therapy. I always knew that I wanted a career where I
could help people, but I did not want to give up my love of music. Music therapy allows me to do both! I
was raised in San Antonio and I’m proud to call it my home. I have worked with a variety of clients,
including clients with autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, Alzheimer’s, and more. I also teach adapted piano lessons to people with special needs.
Summer Fuller
My name is Summer Fuller and I am a recreational therapist for Caliber Therapies! I am from Wilmington, NC originally and graduated with my bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2018. I currently live with my husband and our four adorable cats in Savannah, GA! I love to go to the beach, church, spend time with family and friends, explore our lovely city, and dance!
My background is primarily in mental health and substance use disorders but I have absolutely LOVED serving our brave
Veteran population. My favorite interventions are most definitely building Legos, anything related to expressive arts/music, relaxation skills, and of course brain games! I am so honored to be working for Caliber Therapies and continue to plan on building up our wonderful Veterans and their families through Recreational Therapy.
Rachelle Venus
When it comes to me professionally I started my journey as a recreational therapist in 2017 graduating from Eastern Michigan University. At this time I had interned with traumatic brain injuries but my first job out of college was in behavioral health and I really enjoyed it. I eventually moved to long term care for a few years then back to behavioral health. I currently still work part time in a behavioral health hospital as well as with Caliber therapies. I started with Caliber last September and what an amazing experience it has been so far. I have learned so much about this field as time goes on but to me the most important part about it is seeing what recreation really means to people and seeing the joy on their face when they accomplish something new or complete a task they thought they would never complete again.
As far as me personally I am a wife and mother to two amazing little boys. Spending time as a family and my faith are two of the most important things in my life. I enjoy any outdoors activities and traveling. Hunting, camping, family game nights, and concerts are some of the things I enjoy the most. In our spare time my husband and I enjoy any renovation project we can accomplish to keep ourselves busy. I would consider myself a very outgoing and enthusiastic individual who just tries to enjoy life to the fullest!

Sarah Doegey,
I have been a music therapist since 2005 and have worked with a variety of populations; primarily
in the psychiatric field, but have also served clients with special needs and physical challenges.
Now that I have been with Caliber Therapies for about 4 years, I have had the pleasure of
providing music therapy services for Warriors with a variety of complications. Music Therapy has
changed so much over the years and I hope to continue to grow in the field to accommodate the
populations I serve. I live in South Texas with my husband and three children.

Gwynivere McGee
I go by Gwyn. I graduated from State
University of New York at Cortland with my bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation in May of 2021. I became certified that following September! I have worked predominantly in hospital rehabilitation centers, working with people who are
recovering from traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and a few other diagnoses. I also have experience as a Special Olympics coach working with children and absolutely loved it. After working in hospitals for two years, I decided
to go back for an advanced certificate in victimology (spoiler alert: it’s nothing like
criminal minds or law&order). I learned a lot about trauma, mental health, and thelegal system. I have been working for Caliber Therapies for almost a year now and have loved it! Every time I work with a client, I am making sure they feel confident and supported, so that they can be as independent as possible in their
everyday lives. In return, I get to watch my clients enjoy recreational activities and learn countless skills that can be applied ADL’s and iADL’s. Outside of work, you can find me in Rockaway Beach, NY. I come from a family of civil service, and I am extremely proud. My mother is a retired NYC teacher, and my father is
a retired FDNY Chief. My older brother and my boyfriend are NYC firefighters as well. I grew up on the beach where I learned to swim and surf, and later became a lifeguard. When it wasn’t summertime, I was at my upstate house skiing or on a
soccer field, both of which you could blame for my love of competition. I also love to travel and I’m extremely grateful to my parents who exposed us to different countries and cultures at a very young age. Out of all this, my favorite way to spend leisure time is with my friends or a good book. I am always open to questions and varying opinions, so if you want to know anything else about me
